DEVELOPED

As I have already covered, the most relevant convention is the use of both performance and narrative. However our music video has developed this, buy adding scenes where the two actors aren't in narrative or performing, they are captured in shots relaxing or getting ready to perform, which is a development of the convention. Also music video narratives either relate to the lyrics of the song or on the other hand have no relevance to the meaning behind the lyrics. Our video could be seen either way, due to the subtle narrative. Unless the viewer is really listening to the lyrics, they won't understand that both performers aren't just in a band together, they are brothers, and the narrative is them reliving their memories together. This is some what of a development on the convention that music videos either make sense or not, as the message they are portraying isn't extremely clear.
